Recycling

Tanzania Brush Products applauds the government of Tanzania for stepping up the fight against plastic pollution in the country. Plastic is not only the number one pollutant of our environment but also kills our natural resources in many ways. Part of the move towards a recyclable line has been a growing understanding of the importance of controlling plastic pollution and learning the fact that country generates so much unwanted waste that adds to harming of our wildlife, clogging sewage systems and damaging the aesthetics of our beautiful country. It is estimated that just the city of Dar es Salaam produces almost 4,600 tonnes of waste per day and estimated that the volume is likely to rise to 12,000 tonnes by 2025.

Recycling

The country's fight against plastic pollution and our customer's efforts to 'go green' has been a significant factor in encouraging us to have 60 per cent of our products made from recycled plastic by recycling about 100 tonnes of plastic a month into manufacturing our products. We believe in zero-wastage and therefore our products are completely recyclable especially when they wear out or are rejected. Not every industry sees the issue the same way but we believe that our company's move to be environmentally conscious will set an example to the coming generation that a manufacturer of a product should be concerned about how products affect the world around us. Let's all together make this world a better place to live in.
